"Sí se puede"

Xu’ significa "sí se puede" en lengua tsotsil, de ahí surge nuestro nombre. Somos un colectivo que realiza talleres de arte y actividades culturales en escuelas ubicadas en zonas periféricas; así como comunidades rurales e indígenas. Creemos en el ARTE como una forma de compartir y de contribuir a la transformación y sanación de la sociedad.

Xu’ means "you can do it" in the Tsotsil language, we take our name from there. We are a group of people who develops art wokshops and cultural activities in schools located at the periphery of the city as well as in indigenous and rural villages. We believe in ART as a way to share and contribute to society's transformation and healing.

Talleres de Arte y Actividades Culturales

Nos permitimos explorar las diferentes posibilidades del arte: dibujo, pintura, escritura creativa, música, expresión corporal, serigrafía, etc. a través de talleres y actividades enfocadas a fortalecer las capacidades creativas de las infancias.

Art Workshops & Cultural Activities

We allow us to explore the different possibilities of art: drawing, painting, creative writing, music, body expression, screenprinting, etc.; through workshops and activities focused on strengthen the creative capacities of children.

Colectivo Xu'

"Sana, sana, colita de rana"

Muestra de dibujo y pintura que tiene lugar el 30 de abril de cada año, en una escuela de la periferia. Reúne a la niñez para festejar el día de las infancias a través de la realización y exhibición de sus obras.

It has place on April 30 every year in a school located in the periphery of one of the cities where we work. It's aimed to gather kids in order to celebrate Children's Day through the development and exhibition of their Art works.

¿Hacia dónde?

Conversaciones acerca del sentido de crear y hacer arte; en donde los y las voluntarias que han contribuido con Colectivo Xu' comparten sus historias. Son transmisiones en vivo en donde se invita a la comunidad virtual a interactuar.

Conversations about the meaning of creating and making art. Volunteers who have contributed to the Colectivo Xu' activities share their own stories. They are streamed on our fan page where we invite our virtual community to interact.

Encuentro de mujeres artistas que tiene lugar en una escuela de la periferia, en el que se busca compartir arte en el marco del 8M y mostrar a las infancias, especialmente a las niñas, las posibilidades de ser mujer y dedicarse al arte.

Let's bloom together

Artist women gathering that has place in a school of the periphery of one of the cities where we work. It is aimed to share art in the frame of Women's Day and to show kids, especially girls, the possibilities of being a woman and dedicate your life to make art.
